Fresno, CA (March 25, 2010) – Companies that are a part of the Fresno Technology Affinity Group (FTAG) did presentations before the Fresno City Council during Prime Time for Business on Thursday morning.

Adam Temple of Bixlee Enterprises and Rick Snow of ChartSpace Music Publishing both informed the City Council and the public about their businesses, and also promoted the “Most Multi-Media Meeting Ever,” an event that will showcase local technology companies.  The meeting will take place Monday, March 29 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. at the offices of VisionOne, located at 6781 N. Palm Ave. in Fresno, and will be streamed live on www.BusinessStreetOnline.com.

“We have a number of local technology companies here that do business, both inside and outside of the city,” said Amy Huerta of the City of Fresno’s Downtown and Community Revitalization Department, which created FTAG.

Bixlee Enterprises is a software consulting firm that has been hired by Google for a project, and has also done work in places like Canada and the United Kingdom.

“We’re growing a lot, which is really cool in this economy,” Temple said.  “I think it’s because of our low prices, partially because Fresno has a pretty low cost of living.”

ChartSpace Music Publishing is a music publishing company that provides an online service for publishing music, as well as sells sheet music.  Snow said up to 40 different technological mediums would be present at the “Most Multi-Media Meeting Ever.”

“We want people to understand that Fresno’s got a lot of opportunity in technology,” he said.
