A couple present a piece of musical memorabilia they purchased during a previous Rock ‘N’ Roll Auction.

Fresno, CA (Jan. 27, 2010) - Rock fans eager to get their hands on autographed memorabilia from some of the most influential rock music artists of all time should attend the 12th Annual Rock ‘N’ Roll Auction on Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Famous Casa De Fuego Restaurant at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.

Autographed items from artists including Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, Pearl Jam, U2, Taylor Swift, Metallica and the Rolling Stones will be up for auction.  All of the proceeds from this free event, which includes appetizers, drinks and music, benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

Ronald McDonald House spokesperson Hannah Johnson said that $12,000 - $13,000 is auctioned off every year.

“We are an organization that runs entirely on donations,” Johnson said.  “We want to be able to provide a home-away-from-home for the amount of families that we do without the help of our community.”

The Ronald McDonald House asks for a $15 donation for every family of a seriously ill child that wishes to stay at the house.  The fee is waived if the family cannot afford it.

“This auction provides the funding to give families a home when they need it most, when their kids are sick,” Johnson said.

Johnson also said that Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is offering a special room rate for auction attendees.
